After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Rong Bao Zhai was renamed Rong Bao Zhai Xin Ji (“The New Rong Bao Zhai”). In March 1951, Rong Bao Zhai Xin Ji issued the Beijing Rong Bao Zhai Xin Ji Poetry Letter Paper in one case of two volumes. The set includes 200 works, comprising designs by celebrated artists such as Qi Baishi, Tang Dingzhi, Zhang Daqian, Li Hechou, Wu Daiqiu, Chen Shizeng, Jin Gongbei, Pu Ru, and Chen Banding, along with various examples of antique letter papers. The 1955 edition includes fewer examples than the 1951 version, containing only eighty plates. Printed on fine white paper, it is distinguished by its refined and elegant presentation.

中華人民共和國成立後，榮寶齋完成公私合營，更名“榮寶齋新記”。1951年3月，榮寶齋新記推出一函兩冊的《北京榮寶齋新記詩箋譜》。收錄齊白石、湯定之、張大千、李鶴籌、吳待秋、陳師曾、金拱北、溥心畬、陳半丁等名家作品並各色古箋共計兩百幅。1955年版較1951年版收錄較少，僅八十幅，白紙精印，清雅秀麗。
