Two Small Satsuma-Type Cabinet Vases, Yabu Meizan, Meiji Period
Meiji Period (1868-1912)

One of vasiform, decorated with a fisherman in a coastal landscape; the other side with numerous ladies and girls at elegant pursuits, all against a dense floral scroll ground. The other is a miniature pear-shaped vase, decorated with a variety of boys below a flower-decorated neck. Undersides with gilt mark within a square.
Height of the larger vase 3 1/2 in., 8.9 cm; Height of the smaller vase 1 9/16 in., 4cm
