A Japanese Hirado "Dragons" Koro with Reticulated Cover and Base, Meiji Period
Meiji Period (1868-1912)
Of bulbous form, with two sinuous dragons twined around the reticulated belly, painted with cloud and floral scrolls, the reticulated cover bordered with two bands of petals, all raised on three beast-head feet.
