Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece, engraved vignette title-page, and 41 engraved plates, by Hablot Knight Browne ("Phiz") and Robert Seymour. Finely bound in full crushed crimson morocco, decorated in gilt, laid into front board is the original re-engraved steel plate of "The Cricket Match" by Robert William Buss for the 1932 Lombard Edition; all edges gilt; gilt dentelles; crimson silk doublures and free endleaves; by Bayntun; circular gilt morocco book-plate of Paul Edward Chevalier on front blank; scattered toning and spotting; top corner repaired, GG5 and GG6, smaller repair in top corner, M6; in quarter red morocco solander box.
