New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1920. In two volumes. First edition. 8vo. Illustrated with photogravure frontispieces in both volumes, and numerous plates throughout. Three-quarter blue morocco over blue cloth, stamped in gilt; top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed; marbled endpapers.
Joseph B. Bishop (1847-1928) was a close friend of Roosevelt’s, and served as Secretary of the Panama Canal Commission (1905-14).
