FIRST EDITION. Original wraps. Folio (18 3/4 x 14 3/4 in.). In 35 parts, part 36 is the index and is not present here; original light green printed wrappers, numbered 1 through 35; 175 plates. Most wrappers are separated at the fold; front wrap of part 1 is mounted on Japan paper, with a peripheral loss of 20%; rear wrap is lacking on parts X, XXIX, and XXXIV. Some wraps browned at edges and some with closed tears and chips. All 175 plates are present and very good to fine; 35 parts, lacking index. Housed in 2 quarter leather clamshell boxes, one blue and one gray, with leather lettering pieces on spine. All maps are very good to fine.
