[LINCOLNIANA]. 3 poems and songs mourning the loss of Lincoln, incl. rare example with photograph.
"Oh! Why should the spirit of the mortal be proud?" Poem by William Knox printed front/back on 7 x 4 3/8 in. cardstock, with 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in. portrait of Lincoln mounted at top (toning, light soiling, tape on verso). With additional poem, which appears to be printed, affixed to bottom edge of cardstock (tape repairs on verso). The poem, entitled "Lincoln," was first written by William Cullen Bryant. -- Song on the Death of President Abraham Lincoln. By Silas S. Steele. Philadelphia: J. Magee. 1865.
