Lot comprised of 31 daguerreotypes. Plate sizes include sixth plate (19), and ninth plate (12), many without cases.

Highlights include: Sixth plate, seated portrait of a young woman wearing a plaid dress with white collar, under mat stamped by photographer, S. Broadbent (some tarnish to edges, some discoloration). Housed in Union case with scroll/geometric design. -- Sixth plate portrait of a woman wearing a black silk dress, posed before a painted backdrop featuring a seascape, housed in case with velvet pad credited to Willard, Philadelphia (few spots, some surface wear to plate). Housed in pressed paper case (surface wear). -- Sixth plate, seated portrait of a woman wearing a fancy necktie, under mat stamped by photographer, "Myers" (spotting throughout plate). Housed in leatherette case (surface wear). -- Sixth plate, seated portrait of a woman wearing a patterned dress, under mat stamped by photographer, "Greene" (tarnish to edges, some spotting). Housed in pressed paper case. -- Sixth plate, seated portrait of a young woman, her cheeks lightly tinted pink, wearing a white bonnet and beautifully patterned dress. She looks directly at the photographer (very fine portrait with exceptional clarity). Housed in pressed paper case (some surface wear). -- And 26 others. Conditions vary.
