[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 13 daguerreotypes and one ambrotype of lovely young ladies.
Quarter plate seated portrait of a young lady wearing a floral brooch encircled in gold highlighting. (Spotting to image and mat.) Housed in a wooden wall frame measuring 7 1/2 x 8 3/4 in. -- Ninth plate portrait by ANSON featuring a lovely lady posed with her body pointed to the viewer's right and her head turned to face the camera. (Some tarnishing and spotting to image and mat.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case. Brass mat stamped simply, "Anson." Ninth plate portrait of a young lady wearing an off-the-shoulder dress, exposing her neck and both shoulders, and a locket worn high on her chest. (Minor imperfections.) Housed in an oval Union case (some chipping, wear). -- And 11 others, including 7 sixth plate daguerreotypes (two of which have identified photographers incl. CLARK of New Brunswick and WILLIAMSON of Brooklyn), 3 ninth plate daguerreotypes, and one ninth plate ruby ambrotype.
