Chancery folio. (Title-page with large vertical closed tear, laid down, marginal spotting or toning throughout, lacking frontispiece.) Contemporary marbled boards rebacked in calf to style (boards rubbed, old vellum partially removed at corners). Provenance: Sir Erasumus Gower (signature on A1); Charles G. Boyle (signature on A1).
