12mo. 16 pp. (Spotting.) Original limp printed wrappers (worn and foxed).
ADVANCE ISSUE, the first of only two issues of Unusual Stories ever published. While the front wrapper advertises stories by H.P. Lovecraft, Richard Tooker, David H. Keller, Cyril G. Wates, and P. Schuyler Miller, the publisher William Crawford abandoned the project before it was completed. Only "When the Waker Sleeps", by Cyril G. Wates, was printed. Scarce.
