Provenance: Fred Harvey Book Shop, Kansas City (bookseller's ticket); Ruth White Lowry (1884-1974), Hemingway's cousin and Kansas City native (ownership signature touching Hemingway's, recipient of Hemingway's inscription).
FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE with correct weight of 15 1/2 ounces. INSCRIBED BY HEMINGWAY. Hemingway's classic collection of some of his best stories, including "The Killers," "Ten Indians," and "Hills Like White Elephants." Hanneman A7a.
