Elephant folio (711 x 533 mm). 21 double-page engraved maps. (Some marginal spotting, dampstaining to upper margins of first few maps.) Contemporary brown cloth, red calf lettering-piece gilt, uncut (upper cover dampstained near top edge, affecting endpapers). Provenance: unidentified bookplate).
A full-scale re-strike of the original plates from Turgot's mammoth 1739 birds-eye view Paris.
