FIRST EDITION of this narrative of the Chinese attacks on the Christian settlements in the 1660s. The author settled with Fr. Intorcetta in Nanking in 1659, wrote the present history in prison, and died in Chiang-chow in 1676. RARE: Only one copy has sold at auction in over 40 years. Cordier Sinica 628; Palha 4192 ("rare et estimé").
