4to. 22 chromolithograph plates after ink drawings by Ki San, numerous illustrations in the text; author's printed notice tipped to front fly leaf. Original cream cloth, upper cover stamped with Korean flag design in red and blue, spine lettered in red and blue, top edge gilt (light rubbing at spotting to extremities, front hinge slightly starting).
FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 47 of 550 copies, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. A scarce ethnographic study of traditional Korean board games, card games, and outdoor games, including Yut, Janggi, Go-Stop, Hwatu, Neolttwigi, and Jegichagi.
