FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY VONNEGUT TO DAVID AND LONI HAYMAN, "Peace and plenty." Described as "a simple-minded play about men who enjoy killing, and those who don't," Happy Birthday, Wanda June opened at New York City's Theatre de Lys on 7 October 1970.
