A Pair of Meissen Porcelain Figural Sweetmeat Dishes Height 7 5/8 x width 11 inches.
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
modeled to show a reclining gentleman and lady in 18th century garb raised on the conforming base worked to show rocaille and gilt highlights, with crossed swords in underglazed blue, impressed numbers and incised 2863 and 2858 to the underside, respectively.
