[FLAGS]. 13-star American flag. Ca late 19th-early 20th century.
Approx. 24 1/2 by 35 1/2 in. wool flag with 13 hand-sewn, cotton stars on a wool canton, and 13 machine-sewn, red and white wool stripes. Hoist is cotton with two brass grommets. Mounted to 40 x 50 in. piece of black fabric.
