**British Model No4Mk1 F (FTR) Enfield Rifle
World War II
.303. 25.2" barrel length. SN: BI 10760. Parkerized and Suncorite painted metal finish with polished bolt body mounting walnut semi-pistol grip stock with full length upper handguard. Bolt action repeating rifle fed by semi-detachable ten-shot magazines charged with stripper clips. Left receiver is marked No4MKI F (FTR) above the original model marking No4MKI, indicating it went into factory thorough repair at ROF Fazakerley. Rifle mounts a stamped MK/3 marked rear sight with the aperture bent. Date mark to left action body of 1943. Proof marking to right receiver is worn down, as are those on the wrist. Stock has been sanded. No externally visible importer markings on action body or muzzle. Lacks sling loops. Nonmatching serial numbers. {C&R}
