.25-20 Winchester. 24" octagonal barrel. SN: 601808 (mfg. ca. 1911). Blued finish, steel furniture, varnished smooth walnut stock with crescent butt and smooth forend. Lever action tubular magazine fed rifle with elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight and dovetailed front sight blade. Standard Winchester markings and proofs. {C&R}
