Left frame is struck COLTS/PATENT. Item features a three screw frame, with the recoil shield and rear backstrap cut for shoulder stock. Serial numbers match on the gripstraps, frame, barrel, arbor pin, and wedge pin. Martial marks include D initials to both gripstraps, T initial in two places on cylinder and to the right barrel. Grips have been sanded, leaving the inspector cartouches to both sides weak. Left grip appears to show the G.G.S cartouche of George G.
