Group of Civil War Era Accoutrements: 2 Mann's Patent Cartridge Boxes, 2 Cap Pouches and 2 Carbine Sockets
American Civil War
1) Mann's Pattern Cartridge Box without suspension system, including the Mann patent tin magazine on the interior. Well marked on the front flap with Mann patent information, US and Gaylord maker's mark. Measures nominally 6.25"x4.375"x1.5", not including the outer flap.
2) Mann's Pattern Cartridge Box with suspension strap system, including the Mann patent tin magazine on the interior. Well marked on the front flap with Mann patent information, US and Gaylord maker's mark as well as inspector's cartouche. Measures nominally 6.5"x5"x1.75", not including the outer flap.
3) Jewell contract cap pouch maker marked on the inner flap with US on the outer flap. No wool or pick are present.
4) Unmarked cap pouch with no wood or pick present.
5) & 6) Two unmarked Civil War era cavalry carbine sockets for use with horse tack.
