Display Case with Two 19th Century Military Belts with High Quality Replica CS Belt Plates
American Civil War
1) Painted leather folded and sewn officer's belt with decorative stitching and a very high quality reproduction South Carolina Palmetto Tree two-piece cast brass buckle. Belt is currently adjusted for a nominally 38"-39" waist with an overall length of about 49". Belt is 1.6" wide.
2) Folded and sewn bullion decorated officer's sword belt with a very high quality gilt cast brass reproduction Old English "CS" two piece buckle. Belt is currently adjusted for a nominally 43"-44" waist. Overall length about 45" with a width of 1.4". Belt with some restoration with the leather at the tongue end a modern restoration. Belt includes two leather and gold bullion sword hangers with leather tabs and a brass scabbard support hook, along with the extra leather backing pieces to protect the uniform under the buckle and at the sword hangers.
