Three US Model 1861 Navy Rifle Saber Bayonets, One with Scabbard & Frog
American Civil War
1) 22.5" semi-Yataghan blade with 16.5" central fuller. Blade 1.25" wide at ricasso. Overall length 27.25" with a 4.75" cast brass pin reinforced hilt with 17 grasping grooves. Muzzle ring diameter .912". SN: 6402. Three line Collins marking on reverse ricasso, obverse ricasso unmarked. Included brass mounted leather scabbard with blackened buff frog.
2) 22.375" semi-Yataghan blade with 17" central fuller. Blade 1.25" wide at ricasso. Overall length 27" with a 4.75" cast brass pin reinforced hilt with 17 grasping grooves. Muzzle ring diameter .914". SN: 71. Three line Collins marking on reverse ricasso, obverse ricasso unmarked. No scabbard is present.
3) 22.5" semi-Yataghan blade with 17" central fuller. Blade 1.25" wide at ricasso. Overall length 27" with a 4.75" cast brass pin reinforced hilt with 17 grasping grooves. Muzzle ring diameter .915". SN: 4453. Weak three line Collins marking on reverse ricasso, obverse ricasso unmarked. No scabbard is present.
