Spanish American War US Army Pattern 1887 Sack Coat and Trousers with Remember the Maine Pin
Spanish American War
24.25" sleeve. 14" chest width. 28" length. Blue wool sack coat with mixed manufacturer brass buttons by Horstmann and Steele & Johnson, white cotton lined sleeves, and black cotton lining. Sleeves mount a Corporal's twin stripes, and the lapel mounts a REMEMBER THE MAINE button encased in aged celluloid. Stripes commemorating his service are stitched into the seams. Pants are blue wool with white stripes, and feature an approximately 30" waist and 42" overall length.
