Spanish American War Era Lieutenant's Model 1895 Jacket with Collar Devices for the 32nd US Volunteer Infantry
Spanish American War

23" sleeves. 14" chest width. 27.5" length. Blue wool jacket with black satin liner, silk lined collar, and striped cotton lined sleeves. The sleeve liners are hand stitched with the remainder of the jacket primarily machine stitched. Shoulders mount a Lieutenant's epaulettes, and the collar sports the 32/{Crossed Rifles} and U.S.V. devices for the 32nd Volunteer Infantry Regiment, composed largely of Michigan volunteers. Mounts hidden wood buttons, and is missing one button.
