Lot Description
Randall Model 18 Attack Survival Knife
7.5" blade length. 14" overall with scabbard and hilt. Straight single edged spearpoint knife with serrated false edge, brass guard, and hollow hilt wrapped with three color US Woodland camouflage pattern canvas wrap. Blade ricasso struck with {Swords} enclosing maker mark RANDALL MADE/ORLANDO, FLA. followed by the S for stainless steel mark. Hollow handle is smooth beneath the wrap. Threaded brass pommel cap may be removed to expose the hollow, which contains eight fishing hooks bound in line, and a magnetic compass. Comes with a matching Randall Made marked leather sheath with green paracord tie downs, honing stone, and additional fishing line and cord wrapped around the body of the sheath.
Founded by Bo Randall in 1938, Randall Made Knives soon became well known for their quality and durability. Thousands of his hand-made knives were acquired by American military personnel during World War II, with Randall devising his first numerically assigned models especially for military service.
