**M1 Carbine by Inland with Bag, Sling & Mag Pouch with 2 Magazines
World War II - Korean War
.30 Carbine. 17.75" barrel length. SN: 868530. Parkerized metal finish mounting walnut semi-pistol grip stock with two-rivet upper handguard and mounting customized sights. Short stroke piston driven gas-operated semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable double stack magazines. Item shows INLAND DIV manufacturer mark to the receiver with forward receiver displaying the model marking U.S. CARBINE/CAL. 30 M1. Item features a dished bolt with punch dot pressure proof marking, and a wartime Inland barrel with maker marking INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/11-43. A P prof is struck into the barrel forward of the gas block. Item features the crossbolt safety mechanism. Stock retains a weak RIA cartouche to the left side that has been sanded down. Sights consist of the later pattern adjustable rear notch and have been modified with the rear aperture cut into a V-notch and the front sight cut down into a front blade without protectors. Comes with a khaki canvas storage bag, a two-cell magazine pouch, an oiler, and a spare handguard retainer. Additionally comes with a total of two magazines. {C&R}
