**US Model 1903 Rifle Rebuilt for WWII Service
World War II
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 817523. Parkerized metal finish set in walnut semi-pistol grip C-stock and mounting ladder rear notch and pinned front blade sights. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips and featuring a leather 1905 pattern sling. Receiver is marked U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903 followed by the serial number. Barrel mark reads HS/{Ordnance Bomb}/9-44. Bolt is electropen marked with serial number 0586. Item features a circle P mark to the wrist. Receiver exhibits some weld marks around the cutoff.
