Lot Description
**Berlin Police Marked FN 1922 Target Pistol
.32 ACP. 4.4" barrel length. SN: 123149. Blued metal finish with polished barrel mounting checkered FN logo right grip panel and replaced thumb rest left grip panel with white outline adjustable rear notch sight. Simple blowback operated striker fired autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide legend reads FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE with Belgian firing proofs to the frame, slide, and barrel. Standard caliber mark to right barrel. Right frame additionally marked with A stamp below {Sunburst} and features additional B9 to the right triggerguard. These marks indicate it was once the property of the Berlin Police in the American Sector during the Cold War. Rear sight most likely installed at a later date, along with the replaced left grip panel. Serial numbers match on the frame, slide, barrel, and barrel bushing. Magazine is struck -F.N-/765m/m. {C&R}
