3) Composite US Musket, with 36" long, .69 caliber barrel, 1842 pattern Springfield marked lock dated 1845, percussion altered M1816/22/27 barrel, 1842 pattern stock and furniture, missing the middle barrel band and spring. Barrel originally converted to percussion via the "cone in barrel" system and then converted again with squarish drum. Hammer an altered and modified US M1816/22/27 percussion hammer. {ANTIQUE}
