Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips and mounting two piece casehardened Fecker scope bases and adjustable Lyman rear aperture and pinned MARBLE SHEARD/NO 11 front blade sights. Receiver mark reads U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903 with a barrel date mark reading SA/{Ordnance Bomb}/5-32, indicating it was made in 1932. Barrel is star gauged at the muzzle. Bolt shows the NS mark for nickel steel, and the wrist shows a circle P marking. Scope is fitted to J.W.FECKER marked alloy scope rings, and the blued scope is marked J.W. FECKER/6445.
