Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle featuring sling loops and a 1907 pattern leather sling. Rifle mounts stamped small parts, flat checkered buttplate, and four groove rifling. Markings include U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3 to the receiver, and RA/{Ordnance Bomb}/2-43, indicating the barrel was made in February, 1943. Barrel struck with a punch dot mark in the ordnance bomb stamp. Stock has been lightly sanded and shows weak markings including ordnance {Crossed Cannons} mark followed by the FJA inspector's mark of Frank J. Atwood. Weak arsenal stamps below forend with no visible circle P to stock. {C&R}
