Lot Description
**Rare FN Model 1903 "War Model" with Shoulder Stock
9x20mmSR. 5" barrel length. SN: 2875. Blued metal finish with polished barrel matted for three inches from muzzle and mounting checkered hardrubber FN logo grips. Simple blowback operated concealed hammer autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines, and featuring frame cuts to the butt for mounting a shoulder stock. Left slide is struck FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES de GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE. Further Belgian proofs include {Lion/PV}, {Star/E}, and {Tower} markings to the frame, slide, and barrel. Barrel is additionally struck with circled {Crown/ELG} Liege marking. Further boxed V stamps visible scattered over major components. Serial numbers match where observable on the barrel, frame, slide, hammer, both grip panels, barrel bushing, and on the ejector. The stock is made of walnut, and features a lanyard loop to the left side, and spring loaded latch to butt and stock slot. Slot is serial number marked 39747 and features a boxed A marking. Item comes with one extended ten-shot magazine designed for mounting when the stock is attached. A bright finished cleaning rod is also included in the stock. Lacks flush fitting magazine for use without the stock. {C&R}
