3" curved, singled edged-blade with 21.5" stopped median fuller. Blade 1.2" wide at ricasso. Overall length 35". 5.25" Eagle Head hilt with rococo reverse-P knuckle bow, shell motif quillon and Eagle motif shield shaped langets. Grooved bone grip with 11 wraps of twisted wire. Blued and gilt blade decorated with floral, martial and patriotic motifs. The sword is accompanied by a silvered brass mounted leather scabbard. Likely 1st quarter of the 19th century.
