Overall length 40.5". 5.75" hilt with traditional multi-branch Scottish basked guard of blackened brass, grooved wood grip covered in shagreen with four wraps of multi-strand wire and an iron grip ferrule at the front of the grip. Mushroom pommel cap. Buff leather throat washer. Unmarked. Likely 2nd quarter of the 19th century. No scabbard present.
