Striking sixth-plate occupational daguerreotype of one cool character.

A confident gentleman, he wears a large warm scarf around his neck that obscures the bottom portion of his face. He has a fashionable heavy overcoat with a velvet collar over his suit and a great fur hat. On the left side he holds either a bolt of fabric or a large rolled document. At certain angles it looks like there may be some writing on the bolt, but this could also be the design in the fabric. The daguerreotype is housed in a nice full leather case.
