Half-Plate Darlot Petzval Lenses Mounted as a Stereo Pair.

Engravings on Barrel Read "Darlot Paris" "B.F. & Co." This refers to Benjamin French & Company, Boston, the premier importer of Darlot lenses in the US. Only the right lens is engraved with the serial number "33,810".

The condition is very good. Both focusing mechanisms complete and free. Very good original lacquer and patina. There is some degradation of the balsam cement on the front elements of both lenses. This occurs only around the very perimeter of the lens and does not affect the imaging quality.
