2 volumes, 4to. Engraved title-pages, 123 steel-engraved plates after W. H. Bartlett including frontispieces. Original publisher's deluxe morocco decorated in gilt with a central device of a three-masted ship on both covers, spines lettered and decorated in gilt with a maritime motif, all edges gilt (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Serjeant Bonifas(?) (presentation inscription).
