3 volumes, small 4to. Illustrated. Uniformly bound in later polished tan calf, spines gilt with green and brown morocco lettering-pieces gilt, edges marbled (spins evenly sunned). Provenance: Caroline Shuttleworth (signatures dated 1864); likely sold Christie's South Kensington, 1993 (see sale 6064, lot 44).
