Cairo: Government Press and Survey of Egypt, 1919. First edition. 4to. Edited by Harry Pirie-Gordon, and containing two unsigned reports written by Lawrence. Illustrated with color maps. Original quarter brown cloth over printed wrappers; scattered wear.

New York & London: The Century Co., (1924). First edition. Inscribed by Lowell on front free endpaper: "May Allah give you peace and may you live forever! With deepest salaams Lowell Thomas". Publisher's pictorial orange cloth, worn and soiled; in supplied dust-jacket from the Star Books reprint.
