A fine association copy, from the library of Sir Basil Henry Liddell Hart (1895-1970). Hart was a British soldier, military historian, military theorist, and friend of Lawrence's. Hart wrote the first serious biography of Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia (1934), which was critical in creating the mythology surrounding Lawrence.
