2 volumes, 8vo. With folding engraved route map. (A few leaves with slight foxing or soiling.) Original publisher's blindstamped green cloth (vol. I spine slightly leaned, corners bumped, spine ends and lower joint vol. II slightly rubbed). Provenance: Hawkshead Institute (bookplate). FIRST EDITION of Richardson's account of his third and final expedition, edited by Bayle St. John and published posthumously for the author's journals. A fine copy.
