Original publisher's cloth (slightly soiled and creased). Provenance: Percy Henderson (presentation inscription from the author). FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by Arthur H. Sharp to Percy Henderson on the front pastedown, dated 1900. Presumably inscribed to Major Percy E. Henderson, author of A British Officer in the Balkans (London, 1909).
