FIRST EDITION. The Great Rift Valley was first described by German Explorer Dr. Gustav Fischer, and Gregory followed to carefully study and explore the valley. He was a naturalist at the British Museum, and the appendices include a natural history of Kenya and the surrounding area. Czech p.67; Neate G63.
