Herney (Eton prize inscription).FIRST EDITION, describing Hind's expedition, which was prompted by the need to discover land access to the gold fields of British Colombia, and during which he "lived almost constantly among the Crees and Chippeways, whose habits and peculiarities he was most eager to study, and prompt to record" (Sabin).
