Later green cloth, red calf lettering-pieces gilt (slight chipping to head of spines).FIRST EDITION, WILFRED THESIGER'S COPY, of the account of Fraser's return journey from his diplomatic mission to Persia. AN IMPORTANT ASSOCIATION COPY, from the library of the explorer and travel writer Wilfred Thesiger (1910-2003), who explored Iraq, the home of the Marsh Arabs, Kurdistan and Persia from 1949-1958, and authored a number of books about them.
