Joseph and His Brethren. London: Day & Son, [1865]. 4to (285 x 215 mm). Lithographic text and illustrations throughout on 26 thin card leaves by Albert Warren after Owen Jones and Henry Warren. (Some light spotting or staining.) Pulbisher's red cloth, onlay cream and green gold-stamped border surrounding gold-stamped eagle motif (some light wear or rubbing). FIRST EDITION. GRAY, Thomas (1716-1771). An Elegy Wrote in a Country Church Yard. "Gray's Elegy." London: Longman and Co., 1846.8vo (245 x 170 mm). 36 chromolithographic illuminated pages. (Some browning or staining.) Original brown Relievo leather , turn-ins gilt, edges gilt by Edmond and Remnants (lacking their ticket, some light wear to corners, spine ends repaired, endpapers renewed). FIRST EDITION, the first book issued in Leake's patented "Relievo leather" binding, designed by Jones. McLean Victorian Book Bindings pp.10-11.
