LOW, Friederike ("Fritzi", 1891-1975). Three original fashion sketches in pencil and ink, ca 1915. Quarter morocco folding case. The three pencil and wash sketches depict: a pleated gown and matching jacket shown front and profile with 12-lines in the artist's hand in pencil; a winter coat and mit; and a skirt and long coat. Low held a fashion exhibition in 1915, and issued an album of designs (Die Mode 1914-1915). She was affiliated with the Wiener Werkstte group, and in addition to designing fashion, textiles and glass, she was a book illustrator.
