Le Grande Theatre Historique, ou nouvelle histoire universelle, tant sacree que profane. Leiden: Pierre Vander Aa, 1703. 5 volumes in 3, folio (386 x 243 mm). 5 half-titles, engraved frontispiece, titles printed in red and black, numerous engraved plates (many double-page), double-page world map, engraved vignettes in text. Contemporary tan calf, spines in 7 compartments with 6 raised bands, gilt-lettered in one, 5 with gilt foliate pattern, brown morocco gilt lettering-piece in one, board edges gilt, edges red (some very light wear to extremities, 2 volumes with lower upper joints just splitting).
